Hello New Yorkers!
I am happy to invite all of you to join The Valentine Peace Project -- an international public participation project comprised of students, groups, artists, and other individuals around the world who are re-defining the image of Valentine's Day. More than simply for romantic love, this holiday can also promote peace and global unity.
This Project is taking many forms, and a simple way for you to participate is to help with the distribution of carnations and poems on Thursday, Feb. 14th, 2008. There will also be preparation parties in Brooklyn on Tuesday February 12 and Wednesday February 13! These flowers can be given to anyone you choose to help build a more loving community.
