Is a strange holiday
Red and pink hearts
Always play their parts
But not this year
On February 14, 2008
I’m going green
Not red
My Valentine will receive
Nothing close to red
Maybe a tree
With little green hearts
And a beautiful card
On recycled paper
I will not waste
Our resources
Of value
Trees
Have value
Do not waste them
Keep them living
By going green
Not red
