It was all so great!! We spent about an hour passing out carnations to people on the corner of Melrose and Vine - we started with about 200 flowers and were able to pass out most of them. The kids just LOVED it!

We invite you to create a Valentine’s Day about community, connection and peace.
Each February 14 poems on themes of peace will be distributed - attached to thousands of flowers in various cities around the world. Organizations and individuals are encouraged to participate in their own creative way. We develop peace education workshops in schools as well as art and poetry around themes of peace, love and global citizenship.
One can also participate by printing poems or lyrics easily from this website.
